Steven W. Scott

Steven W. Scott, 76, of Superior died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Solvay Hospice House, Duluth.

He was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Detroit, Mich. to Adam and Amelia (Oginski) Zubas.

He served his country in the United States Army.

Steve married Dorothy DeRosia on April 12, 1969, in Temple City, Calif., and recently celebrated 43 years of marriage.

He was owner/operator of Master Print, with his wife Dorothy, for many years before his retirement.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and music and loved to play the accordion. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, Steve is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Zubas, Phoenix, Ariz., Becky (Stan) Semborski, Superior; two sons, Jeffery (Cathy) Scott, Superior, Bradley (Kimberly) Scott, Superior; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joan Vicari and his brother, Norman Zubas.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until the 11 a.m. Mass of

Christian burial Wednesday, April 18 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Don Kania as celebrant.

Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 435 at the church following the mass.

Pallbearers for the service will be Steve's grandsons, Robert Milbridge-Scott, Benjamin Scott, Branden Ross, Derrick Scott, Austin Pearson and Timothy Semborski.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery.

Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
